Forensic Casework DNA Backlog Reduction: Funding Chart

This program offers an opportunity for States and units of local government with existing crime laboratories that conduct DNA analysis to analyze backlogged forensic DNA casework samples from forcible rape and murder/non-negligent manslaughter.

In 2007, the Forensic Casework DNA Backlog Reduction Program was merged with the DNA Capacity Enhancement Program to create a single Forensic DNA Backlog Reduction Program, which maintains the objectives of both programs.
